“Life in a Jar: the Irena Sendler Project” author Jack Mayer will be speaking in Fort Scott. In his presentation he will share about the process of writing the book, his research, and the many hours he spent with Irena Sendler. During his time spent interviewing Irena Sendler, he was able to develop a special relationship with her. Many years of research supported by primary sources lead to the creation of the award-winning book “Life in a Jar: the Irena Sendler Project.” This presentation is free and open to the public.
