| January 27th is International Holocaust Remembrance Day. As we commemorate the end of the Holocaust during World War II and the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau, we honor the victims and the survivors of the Holocaust. We also continue to be inspired by Irena’s efforts to stand up for those being persecuted around her. Irena Sendler would want us to remember that one person can make a difference and change the world. She believed that good will always triumph. We must be the good in the world around us. We much “Never Forget.” |
